Refund Policy – Dr Fiona Tassoni Melbourne Clinic

Dr Fiona Tassoni Melbourne Clinic is a registered healthcare service provider located at Level 3, Suite 317, 566 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004. All services are delivered by qualified practitioners in accordance with professional and legal standards.

Because our services involve healthcare consultations, diagnostic evaluation and labour performed by a practitioner, all fees relate to professional time, expertise and clinical care. For this reason, we do not offer refunds for consultations, treatments or missed appointments, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

1. No Refunds on Clinical Services

When you book an appointment, you are reserving dedicated practitioner time, clinic resources and administrative support. As a result:

• Consultation fees are non refundable once the appointment has commenced.
• Telehealth and Zoom consultations are treated the same as in clinic appointments.
• Failure to attend, late arrivals or last minute cancellations may incur the full fee, as outlined in our appointment policy.

Healthcare services cannot be returned, reversed or undone, therefore refunds are not available for completed or partially completed appointments.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

You may reschedule or cancel your appointment with reasonable notice. Specific cancellation windows and fees are outlined in your booking confirmation email.

• Cancellations with adequate notice may avoid a fee.
• Late cancellations or no shows may be charged at the full appointment fee.

These policies ensure fair access to limited practitioner availability for all patients.

3. Herbal Medicine, Supplements & Products

Chinese herbal prescriptions and supplements are customised therapeutic products, prepared specifically for your health needs. For safety, regulatory and contamination control reasons, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds for:

• Opened herbal granules, tinctures or products
• Custom mixed herbal formulas
• Supplements removed from sealed packaging

Refunds may be considered only where required by law, including:

• If a product has a major defect or is unsafe
• If the item supplied is incorrect and returned unopened

In these cases, we will comply with the Australian Consumer Law requirements.

4. Digital Products and Educational Material

Any digital materials or educational content provided as part of your care are non refundable due to immediate access upon delivery.

5. Circumstances Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Dissatisfaction with treatment outcomes
• Changes in personal circumstances
• Failure to follow treatment advice
• Delays or disruptions caused by technology during telehealth sessions

No health provider can guarantee specific fertility or health outcomes. Individual results vary based on personal medical factors.

6. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

The clinic complies fully with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a remedy when a service:

• Is not delivered with reasonable care and skill
• Does not match the description or advertised service
• Is not fit for the purpose agreed upon

Where applicable, we will offer the appropriate remedy, which may include resupplying the service. Refunds are only required under law when a major failure has occurred.
